At SSFI, we believe in nurturing young minds while instilling a deep sense of environmental responsibility. Our Primary and Lower Secondary learners recently embarked on an inspiring journey towards a plastic-free future.

Driven by their passion to make a difference, our students took up the challenge of creating alternatives to plastic bags. Through hands-on activities, they crafted paper bags, cloth bags, jute bags, and more. Their remarkable creations were then proudly displayed in a captivating gallery at our school.

The impact of this initiative went beyond the artistic display. It served as an eye-opening experience for our learners, enabling them to witness firsthand the power of sustainable choices. By witnessing the tangible results of their efforts, our students gained a profound understanding that we can still thrive and make a positive impact without relying on harmful plastic.

Even our youngest learners, the pre-primary students, actively participated in this endeavor. They eagerly worked on crafting their own paper bags, fostering a sense of environmental consciousness from an early age.
