Social and emotional learning is embedded in every strand of teaching and learning at SSFI. On October 16th 2019, Learners at SSFi involved themselves in a community outreach programme. The theme for 2019 was “healthy diets for a zero-hunger world” and it was in tandem with the Theme of the Term – Zero Hunger. Hence all our learners brainstormed, ideated, and discussed various ways to commemorate the event. A fruit distribution drive to a less-privileged NGO for kids was decided upon. Learners took it upon themselves to collate the resources – Fruits and monetary.

This was followed up by participating hands-on in preparing food salads for each individual, packaging the same, and finally distributing it among the recipients.
