Learners at SSFI celebrated World Environment Day by interacting with nature first hand. They were involved in creating awareness amongst the general public on saving environment. The entire session was in association with Bhoomi – an NGO for environment. The session took place in an outdoor classroom at the park where they discussed and reflected upon their actions and its impact on the environment. They honed their communication skills by creating an entire campaign which started with ideating slogans to sound the campaign and also made posters to convey their idea to people at the park. The campaign saw the learners created an awareness by interacting with the visitors at the park and finally planted a sapling each. They recorded their reflections and session created a positive outlook amongst our learners.
